Product descriptions are written to sell products. Our job is different. We compare available specifications, documentation, product characteristics and other relevant evidence to understand where a product performs well and where compromises appear.

Heavy-duty equipment is usually heavier. Ultralight equipment often sacrifices something to achieve its low weight. Large tents take up more room when packed. Comfortable chairs are not always the easiest chairs to carry. Rather than hide those compromises, we make them part of the recommendation.
